I draft employment agreements and polices for employers and review employment agreements for employees. I also assist both employers and employees to understand their contractual rights and obligations.  

 I  assist with negotiations on behalf of employers and employees. This includes exit negotiations for senior employees.

I help employers to navigate the process of dismissing staff fairly and lawfully. I also help employees who are facing dismissal, or who have been dismissed unfairly, to enforce their rights.

The vast majority of employment disputes resolve at mediation. I have extensive experience representing both employers and employees at mediation, with a high degree of success. 

I act as an independent investigator in respect of workplace misconduct. I also advise and represent employees who are subject to an investigation. 

Over the last 14 years, I have appeared in court at all levels, including the Employment Relations Authority, Employment Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
